Helen Kent

Helen started her training at the Vicki Durning School of Dance where she won many competitions and championships across the country including Champion Child of the Year (presented by HRH Princess Diana), a Carl Alan Award for Modern Dance, runner up in the grand finals of Miss Dance of Great Britain and 3rd place in the All England finals at the Sadler's Wells Theatre, London. 


She then spent 3 years training at Performers College with Brian Rogers where she was awarded Solo Choreographic Winner for 2 years in a row judged by Wayne Sleep & Chris Power. Whilst training at Performers she also gained her teaching qualifications. 


On graduating she has performed around the world as a dancer, singer and actress in various Musicals, Pantomime's, Plays, Dance shows, Commercials, Films and on TV. Most recently she appeared as Lisa Simmons in Emmerdale and was the Wicked Queen in pantomime at the Princess Theatre, Torquay.  She has always continued to train and hone her skills and has since received a Licentiate Diploma in Speech & Drama through Trinity College London.


She has worked with many house hold names including Shirley Anne Field, Bea Arthur, Sir Cliff Richard, Melvin Hayes, Jim Davidson, Denise Nolan, Melinda Messenger and Lisa Riley and was lucky enough to sing solo on stage at the London Palladium.


During her career Helen has taught and choreographed at various schools and colleges in the UK including the Guildford School of Acting at the University of Surrey, John Fowler Holidays and has more recently worked as an assistant director for New Pantomime Productions.
