Exam classes 
Classes follow the LAMDA Acting and Devising syllabuses. Looking at script work, drama styles, periods, practitioners and voice work. Exams are normally taken in the summer term.

 

Open classes  

These classes do not cover exam work. They focus on improvisation, confidence building, characterisation and performance skills.

 

TV/Film/Radio Classes

Weekly classes focusing specificity on technique for camera and recorded mediums. Students are filmed or recorded each week and given feedback. 

 

Solo exams 
Solo and duo exam private lesson slots are available with Miss Naomi. These follow the LAMDA Verse and Prose and Acting syllabuses. Exams are taken at Stalder or at public centres throughout the year.

 

Audition Prep
One off private lessons can be booked with Miss Naomi to work on audition material, for professional work and drama school entry.

 

Comp Team

The Drama Competition Team compete at festivals throughout the year. Students need to be invited to be part of the team or take part in an open audition session. Comp team members must take private lessons and attend  a weekly drama class and any comp team group classes to keep their place on the team.

The uniform for all drama classes and exams is

 

  • Black t-shirt, leotard or Comp t-shirt

  • Black leggings or jogging bottoms. Tan or Black jazz shoes

  • Long hair should be tied back
